Rate yourself for self improvement

We all want to get better but often we don’t collect the data necessary to know what to work on.   When at a practice facility you may notice that the most common club used to practice with is the driver.  Driving the ball well is very important but you hit this club an average of 12 times a round and use your wedges about 20 times and your putter 25 time a round.  Wouldn’t it make more sense to practice with those tools?

Maybe this questionnaire will help you understand your game a little better and what you can improve on.  It should take just a few minutes and may guide you to a more prosperous golf future.  You need to be realistic, if you hit the ball 120 off the tee, are not physically strong and don’t plan on getter stronger or more flexible don’t set your goal to hit the ball 280 yards.  Know where your are and where you would like to go.

Fill in the blanks below.

Next take a big picture look at your game and write your self a note on what you need to do to get your handicap to your goal.  Then print out this sheet and put it into your golf bag.
